# Repurpose a Video for Social

Use the connected LazyReel MCP server. Treat every clip as a complete idea, not a random excerpt.

## Workflow

1. Inspect the project summary, transcript, timeline, aspect, brand kit, and available sample frames.
2. Find hooks and self-contained ideas. Rank candidates by clarity, emotional pull, usefulness, and visual potential.
3. Propose distinct, non-overlapping clips. For each, state the hook, promise, target duration, start and end idea, and intended platform.
4. After selection, plan the edit with:
   - 9:16 framing and safe subject placement;
   - concise captions with emphasis only on meaningful words;
   - B-roll or motion for claims that need visual support;
   - music and SFX that support the beat without fighting speech;
   - a clean ending rather than an abrupt transcript cut.
5. Apply approved clip plans, then verify duration, crop, caption safe areas, visual coverage, and audio continuity.
6. Prepare accurate platform copy only after the final edit is stable.

Do not produce five variations of the same moment. Prefer fewer strong clips when the source does not contain enough complete ideas. Keep factual claims and speaker intent intact.

Suggested first request: “Find five distinct Shorts in this project. Give each a complete idea, a different hook, vertical framing, readable captions, and no overlap. Show me the candidates before editing.”
