Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy is in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 of India. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Cancellation Policy
1.1 Monthly Subscription (Creator Plan)
- You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time.
- Upon cancellation, you retain access to all paid features until the end of your current billing period.
- No further charges will be made after cancellation.
- Your account will automatically revert to the Free plan at the end of the billing period.
1.2 Annual Subscription (Pro Annual Plan)
- You may cancel your annual subscription at any time.
- Upon cancellation, you retain access to all paid features for the remainder of your 12-month subscription period.
- No automatic renewal will occur after the 12-month period ends.
1.3 How to Cancel

Via App: Open Settings > Plans > Manage > Cancel Subscription

Via Stripe: Use the billing portal link sent in your subscription confirmation email
Cancellation requests via email are processed within 24 hours.
2. Refund Policy
2.1 Monthly Subscription
- Monthly subscription charges are non-refundable.
- We do not provide partial refunds for unused days within a billing cycle.
- To avoid future charges, cancel before your next billing date.
2.2 Annual Subscription (7-Day Guarantee)
7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with the Pro Annual plan, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your first activation.
- The 7-day window starts from the date of first payment, not from the date of registration.
- Refund requests made after 7 days will not be honoured.
- Upon refund, your account is immediately downgraded to the Free plan.
- Any license key used for the annual plan will be revoked.
2.3 License Keys
- License keys are non-refundable once activated (bound to an account).
- Unactivated license keys may be refunded if purchased directly from us.
2.4 Free Plan
The Free plan has no charges and therefore no refunds apply.
3. How to Request a Refund

Include: your registered email address, date of purchase, and reason for refund

We will acknowledge your request within 24 hours

Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days

Refund is credited to the original payment method (Stripe)
4. Exceptions
Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:
- The account has been suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms of Service.
- The refund request is made after the 7-day cooling-off period (annual plan).
- The service was substantially used (e.g., multiple exports completed) during the refund period.
- The purchase was made using a fraudulent payment method.
- The license key has already been activated on an account.
5. Service Discontinuation
If LazyReel is permanently discontinued:
- All active monthly subscribers will not be charged further.
- All active annual subscribers will receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of their subscription.
- We will provide at least 30 days advance notice before discontinuation.
6. Dispute Resolution
If you are not satisfied with our response to a refund request:
- You may escalate to our Grievance Officer at hellocodepur@gmail.com
- You may file a complaint with the appropriate District Consumer Forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019
