Fix a flubbed line without re-shooting anything

One wrong word used to mean re-recording the take or living with it. Voice retakes fix the audio instead: you edit the caption's text, and the corrected line is generated in a clone of your own voice, fitted to the original timing and blended at both ends so the seam is inaudible. The video keeps rolling; only the words change.

Step by step

1. Transcribe your video so every line has a caption.
2. Click the flubbed caption and choose Retake.
3. Edit the text to what you meant to say. First time, record a short voice-clone sample.
4. Generate: LazyReel mutes the original span and drops the corrected read into the same window, speed-fitted and blended.
5. Preview; swap the voice or adjust speed without regenerating if needed.

Will viewers notice the retake?

The retake is timed to the original window with blended edges. On typical talking-head footage the mouth is rarely in tight closeup, so a word-level fix passes unnoticed.

Do I need to record my voice every time?

No. The voice clone is created once and reused across retakes and projects.
