Remove every um and uh from your video in one pass

Filler words are the difference between sounding sharp and sounding unprepared, and cutting them by hand is an hour of scrubbing per ten minutes of footage. Word-aligned transcription makes it automatic: the editor knows where every um lives and cuts it without touching the words around it.

Step by step

1. Import and transcribe your video.
2. Run Smart Edit and select filler removal (silences and rambling are separate toggles).
3. Review the proposed cut list; every cut shows its transcript context.
4. Apply: video, audio, captions, and B-Roll re-sync together.
5. Export.

Will the cuts sound choppy?

Cuts land on word boundaries with micro-padding, and optional per-seam transitions (fade, flash, blur) smooth any visible jump.
